The book is currently cited in the article. The article could be vastly expanded, too. Ludwig Deppisch's terrific book, The White House Physician: A History From Washington to George W. Bush, is also a good resource. FYI, I would avoid using Google books links unless the entire text is available online. Otherwise, the link is merely a partial link to something which the reader must buy in order to access, making it a) advertising and b) useless (like pay-to-view newspaper archives). New WH doctor

title for Ronny Jackson

Right now, Ronny Jackson is identified as a Rear Admiral. However, the Navy subsequently demoted him to Captain (see, e.g., https://www.navytimes.com/news/your-navy/2024/03/07/lawmaker-who-claims-to-be-a-retired-rear-admiral-was-actually-demoted/). Should he continue to be identified as a Rear Admiral, since that was his title while WH physician? Or should he now be identified as a Captain instead, since that is his current title? Since it can be years in between comments on this talk page, I went ahead and changed his rank to Captain, as that's his current rank and was his rank for more than half of his tenure. I updated the footnote about this. If anyone feels strongly about reverting his rank to Rear Admiral, please say. FactOrOpinion (talk) 16:45, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
