Some references wrt music

[edit]

"Light Your Windows" is in 7/4 time, and somehow it rocks in a mellow way. "Gold and Silver" is in 5/4 time. It's a rewritten version of Dave Brubeck's "Take Five," and it rocks. "The Fool" is an excursion into chamber music (or something) by a rock band. It is not possible that no one noticed these things. Wastrel Way (talk) 21:43, 23 March 2020 (UTC) Eric[reply]

On a less serious note, I remember the radio plug for this album when it was released. It parodied the opening narration of "Star Trek with "These are the voyages of the Star-Schlep Innertube..." Wastrel Way (talk) Eric

The fool?

[edit]

If anyone knows for certain why this extraordinary performance was titled "The Fool" the information would be worth sharing. Calling it "the fool" seems totally incongruous with the tone and theme of the song. 2600:8801:BE01:2500:1CA8:8F09:488C:364F (talk) 17:49, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
