WP:INDIA Banner/Delhi Addition

[edit]

Note: {{WP India}} Project Banner with Delhi workgroup parameters was added to this article talk page because the article fals under Category:Delhi or its subcategories. Should you feel this addition is inappropriate , please undo my changes and update/remove the relavent categories to the article -- Amartyabag TALK2ME 04:05, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The first picture used on this page http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f4/Rashtrapati_Bhavan-Delhi-India4445.JPG/400px-Rashtrapati_Bhavan-Delhi-India4445.JPG is NOT of Rashtrapati Bhavan, which is by Lutyens. The picture displays one of the two secretariat buildings outside the Presidential compound. They were designed by Herbert Baker and house government departments, not the President. The third picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rashtrapati_Bhavan_Illuminated_on_Republic_Day-2010_Eve.jpg is also not of Rashtrapati Bhavan, but of the secretariat block. If possible the pictures should be replaced with photos of the actual Presidential Palace.

Largest Palace claim

[edit]

The World's largest palace page indicates it doesn’t make the top 10 largest current abodes of a head of state, with Turkey, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Brunei, Vatican, Czech Republic, UK, Belgium, Russia, ... all having larger official residences.83.104.51.74 (talk) 16:52, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
