Rodopi Software

[edit]

@Salvidrim!: Per MOS:DABMENTION, "If a topic does not have an article of its own, but is mentioned within another article, then a link to that article should be included." However, Rodopi Software isn't mentioned at Telecommunications billing. As things stand, it doesn't seem like the link aids navigation. Nick Number (talk) 19:50, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, re-reading MOS:DABRED: "If the only pages that use the red link are disambiguation pages, do one of the following: Unlink the entry word but still keep a blue link in the description. Red links should not be the only link in a given entry; link also to an existing article, so that a reader (as opposed to a contributing editor) will have somewhere to navigate to for additional information. The linked article should contain some meaningful information about the term." I had kinda glossed over the "linked article should contain info about term".... I hate the thought of removing it from the dab because it's definitely a topic that will be looked up, Aplus.Net-owned Rodopi Software was described in industry news as "the leading operations support system" in 2005 and was highly widespread amongst North American telcos.... maybe I should throw a stub together instead... wish I had time for that right now. Let me just toss myself a few refs here and check back in later. [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] Ben · Salvidrim!  22:04, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
