Is this article a hoax?

I can find no evidence that this "popular folksinger" exists, let alone is notable. Google only brings up the historical Rufus Buck from the 19th century, and a defunct hard rock band. wikipediatrix 03:52, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
