Aircraft carried by Soya

[edit]

According to http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/misc/ships/j/spahrsoya.htm, on the second expedition (based on what kit had) Soya carried two Bell 47, two S-58 and a DHC-2 Beaver (although not sure if it carried all 4 helicopters). Kits for the first arctic mission shows 2x Bell 47, and a Cessna on floats, possibly a Cessna 180. It seems the load changed over the missions, possibly 1st Corps only had Cessna, the 2ed added 2x Bell 47, and 3ed added S-58 or two. See http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery/misc/ijn/soya2-350-pvb/pvb-index.html

When the list is confirmed should be added to main article. Flightsoffancy (talk) 04:40, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think due to some errors a mess has been made about the history of this page.

This page provides the history: Sōya (PL107

I am not sure how or who will fix this. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 09:27, 5 June 2021 (UTC))[reply]
