Hi @Aa77zz, most of the sources that I'm seeing seems to say that its scientific name is Cinnyris clementiae. I'm not exactly sure if I'm right or not, not exactly familiar with species names, could you check? Justiyaya 12:10, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Justiyaya: As part of the recent split of the olive-backed sunbird complex into 8 species, Cinnyris clementiae is named "South Moluccan sunbird". It has 3 subspecies: C. c. buruensis, C. c. clementiae and C. c. keiensis. I intend to eventually create a page for this species. English wikipedia follows the IOC list (version 14.1 available here) but the same changes have been adopted by Clements 2023 available here and ebird here). Thanks for checking. - Aa77zz (talk) 12:37, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
