Sister Park

[edit]

I don't know where to fit it into the article (or if to add it), but this month Sequoia & Kings Canyon became a sister park to Samlaut Multiple Use Area in Cambodia. — Eoghanacht talk 13:39, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redwood National and State Parks designation REMOVED

[edit]

"Redwood National and State Parks" is a VERY specific name for only REDWOOD NATIONAL PARK and the three state parks (Prarie Creek, Del Norte Coast, and Jedediah Smith) that are located adjacent to (actually touching) Redwood National Park. This category is in error listing any parks beyond those three State parks in addition to RNP and will confuse readers. No other parks are included in the historic management compact that exists in between only the three listed state parks and Redwood National Park. Disagree? Call/Check sources related to Redwood National Park Headquarters in Crescent City, CA...Norcalal (talk) 07:32, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It seems necessary to ask for outside opinions on the matter of including links to categories in the see also section, so I opened a discussion here: Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (layout)#See also include links to categories?. Join me there for a discussion on the WP:SEEALSO guideline. Cheers, Rkitko (talk) 03:21, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Buffalo Soldiers

[edit]

Added info on the park ranger history of the park, to include the Buffalo Soldiers' role. Springfrog32 (talk) 20:06, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reference text overlaps right column of images when viewed on PC.

[edit]
Resolved

While this article apparently displays just fine on my phone, viewing on a laptop results in the text of the references section being superimposed over the images trailing down the left hand side. If that were not the case, the images would partially obscure the text. So, it seems to me that either the number, size, and/or placement of those images needs to be adjusted, or the textual height of the article needs to expand to allow more space for the images in their current configuration. In terms of simplest approach, I'd probably reduce the number of images shown. But given the importance and visibility of the article, I'm hoping more experienced editors have a more elegant solution available. ShoneBrooks (talk) 13:38, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to have been resolved. Thank you!ShoneBrooks (talk) 14:13, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
