Why "Seton Hall reports"?

[edit]

I've deleted the category "Seton Hall". One, we do not have WP:V that Seton Hall itself was involved in the preparation of these reports other than the fact it was a Seton Hall professor (and son) who complied them. Two, is "Seton Hall reports" an appropriate WP:AT, e.g., common, recognizable name? E.g., are they published under the name "Seton Hall Reports"? Three, there are "reports" already mentioned in the Seton Hall LS article -- see Seton_Hall_University_School_of_Law#Center_for_Policy_and_Research. Are these the same? --S. This article had originally grown out of one called the "Denbeaux study". Although I thought it was a better name, there are more of these "studies" now.
I think the Seton Hall link was appropriate. It's not only because this was a Seton Hall professor and his son, but it is hosted on the shu.edu website, and I'm pretty sure they used their students to sort out the numbers. The law school gets some of the credit or blame, depending on one's view.

@Vanderwaalforces: Can you please only send these RM alerts when they would likely be of interest to the Wikiprojects involved? This is a non-substantive title change for a low-importance article. There is little reason it would be of interest to these wikiprojects, which have opted out of automatic talk-page alerts for RMs by using Article Alerts. @SilverLocust Thanks. Fair enough, will do just that. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:20, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose – Per WP:SINGULAR and the linked guidelines at WP:Naming conventions (plurals), the title of this page should be plural as it is about a class of objects. Robminchin (talk) 14:03, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
