Is this an actual character invented by Tolkien, or just something made up for the movies? I ask because sharkû (note correct spelling!) is the word from which "Sharkey" is said to derive. It seems improbable that it would also be given as a name to a character. Or, rather, it sounds like exactly the kind of thing that would have used for the movies. -Aranel ("Sarah") 20:11, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
