The lady with a penknife

[edit]

I am told, that a relative of mine was on the RMS Titanic and was in fact the one who cut a cord which aided in successfully launching the lifeboat. I've never looked up info nor am sure of her name. She was from Ireland. Perhaps county Clare or Limerick. Her name may have been Morrissey or Keane. I've not met her. If you know any facts about the incident of the lifeboat that was stuck in its davit with rope and she leant her pen knife to cut the boat free saving many lives. You can contact me through email at rjtcronin182@gmail.com. Just known facts please. No questions. The scene was prominent in a night to remember the movie. Thank you and may God bless you. 98.186.197.26 (talk) 10:13, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
