"Retrospective interest" section is copy-pasted

[edit]

The "Retrospective interest" section is copy-pasted (aside from paragraph spacing) from the Super Smash Bros. Wiki. Does it need to be rewritten? Æ's old account wasn't working (talk) 09:48, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, I'm the one responsible for writing the majority of the Slamfest '99 Wikipedia article as well as the SmashWiki article. I completely re-wrote the section in question in the last couple years and kept the wording essentially the same between the two wikis, which was intentional. I figured there wasn't really a need to change the wording as the ideas conveyed would have been beat-by-beat identical anyways.
There's extremely little to work with concerning this highly obscure event, so naturally any two wikis covering it are going to sound very similar. However, if it's absolutely necessary to change the wording on Wikipedia, I'd be willing to take up that task. Bozo ssb (talk) 01:27, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
