RIP Astronautix.com

[edit]

The information in this article (and many others, I believe) was drawn from astronautix.com which appears now to be permanently offline due to DoS attacks.

I can personally verify that, having read the original articles on this spacecraft, the current state of this entry is basically correct. Can we hold off on the delete button until an alternate source of space vehicle information can be found?

OK, I've used a mirror of astronautix.com from 2001 (this is a 1960s spacecraft, so information doesn't need to be current really.) Hope this is good enough to get started improving this article.
