Milking

[edit]

"is reasonably done every 6 hours or, at most, twice daily" Seeing as there are four 6-hour periods in a day, this seems to be a rather non-sensical statement. --Belg4mit 04:35, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not if you're a nuclear medicine person who only works banker's hours! There aren't too many emergency nuclear medical scans. Thus, the generators get milked at most twice in a daytime hour work day. SBHarris 22:02, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Diagram

[edit]

Would it be possible to have a diagram of the function of the generator? 120.146.157.227 (talk) 02:56, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How does it work?

[edit]

Yeah but how does it work?? What is it; a box of material? Write something like: "It is a kit for separating the Tc from the Mo by elution." Be terse. 2600:1700:4CA1:3C80:857A:BCFD:8971:6F26 (talk) 15:35, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Waste

[edit]

What is done with the Technetium-99 waste? If it is excreted by patients is it simply released into the environment as sufficiently diluted to be of no concern? Are there other forms in which this waste can collect or release into the environment? Hobbitschuster (talk) 17:20, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
