Surfing

[edit]

So can you surf on it as well? 82.38.57.102 (talk) 19:30, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming this was a serious enquiry no, I don't think so. It seems pretty dedicated to canoes. I don't know much technically about the two disciplines but it looks to me as if the requirements are rather different and a surfer would lack good, lasting waves to ride and would have a rather fast and perhaps uncomfortable trip down. But YMMV. Hope this helps. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 08:47, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Teesside White Water CourseTees Barrage White Water Course — New name of this facility, see for example http://www.teesactive.co.uk/activities/detail/name=watersports+-+tbwwc/rowid=490. Can't move it myself as "wrong-way" redirect exists. DBaK (talk) 08:57, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
