Revamp?

This whole page feels like it was written by a fan, which isn't really the point of Wikipedia. I'd like to propose a revamp of the page that limits the content to just the facts, eliminating vague references to the quality of the music. Something like: Members, Albums, Notable Songs, Awards, Links. I'm happy to make the changes, but they're too large to do without getting some opinions. Thoughts? | Keithlaw 00:32, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

Keith - I agree, I think the page has a big need for a major update. Go for it, man. IanMcGreene 16:31, September 8, 2005 (UTC)
Game on, then. I'll tackle it over the weekend. Thanks. | Keithlaw 18:54, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
First pass is done and posted. Comments are welcome. | Keithlaw 01:13, 11 September 2005 (UTC)== Organix ==

I didn't want to take it upon myself to edit this in case I am wrong about it, but is there any confirmation out there that Organix is really a live recording from Germany? I recently acquired a copy of the album, and the only song that's mentioned as being recorded live is Essaywhuman, and it says that it was recorded in Slovenia, not Germany. Numerous comments that I've read from Questlove (see Homegrown, Vol. 2's liner notes, for one example) indicate that the band was given free recording time in a studio somewhere (I can't recall if the exact location was named or not - I'd have to check) to record their debut. Not to mention that aside from the aforementioned Essaywhuman, it doesn't sound like a "live" album to me.

Are there any other sources out there that can show otherwise? Perhaps I'm wrong, who knows.

You're right, it's not a live album recorded in Germany. It is a studio album that, as you noted, has one live track.--Ryanlovesyou 23:35, 7 August 2006 (UTC)==Unspecified source for Image:3112.jpg==

Fair use rationale for Image:3112.jpg

Image:3112.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 05:30, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Image in reference has been removed. Correct link with fair source explanation is located at HERE. Use of Album art is unnecessary anyway in the main article, can be viewed at the correctly linked album page.Td65924 (talk) 15:32, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

A lot of categories were recently deleted by User:Andrewlp1991. They are categories that seem to apply. Can someone explain why? Does wikipedia have any guidance on which categories should be and should not be included with an article? Thanks in advance. Jean15paul (talk) 21:24, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
