Appearance on The Guardian list

[edit]

I am something of an inclusionist, and thus I disagree with this reversion. If the list discussed is a list by a renowned newspaper like The Guardian, I see no reason why it is necessary to remove a discussion of even the 50th play, for example, ranking 50th. It's debatable territory. My own stance is to view inclusion in evanescent lists more journalistic than encyclopaedic. I'm cautious about this article anyway, since in its original state it looked more like a plug for a production that, in the end, did not happen. Before that the play had only short runs in Chichester and the London fringe. The Guardian piece was mere trend spotting, a matter of opinion yet to be borne out by a long and notable run. Inclusion of the Guardian and TLS reviews of the two niche productions seem enough for now; more, like the original state of the article, would border on WP:WIKIPUFFERY.
