Platform length

[edit]

How has the problem of the short platforms been resolved? Have they been lengthened to accommodate 8-car trains or will passengers have to alight from the front four coaches only? MegaPedant (talk) 12:28, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The listed building consent application makes no reference to extending the existing platforms.
There are pix of the first test train here. Current estimates is for passenger running in April - so, we'll probably find out soon! HTH Kbthompson (talk) 14:44, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re-opening

[edit]

We really need a better source than a blog for the re-opening date. TfL seem to be silent on the matter. According to this site, 15 April is "strongly rumoured", but that's not hard fact. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:12, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
