Reviews

[edit]

For the reviews section, I have here an article from Idolator that basically has a collection of reviews from most major music reviewer sites. http://www.idolator.com/7514103/lana-del-rey-west-coast-review-revue --Matt723star (talk) 17:17, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sample

[edit]

If anyone uploads a sample of the song, I'd suggest uploading a 30 second snippet where the first verse ends and the chorus begins to show its drastic tempo change. --Matt723star (talk) 21:16, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded a sample that can be included in a "composition" section in the article here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lana_Del_Rey_-_West_Coast_%28Sample%29.ogg Littlecarmen (talk) 22:28, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome! I just don't know how to put it in the article.. --Matt723star (talk) 22:53, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

God I feel like the only one who posts in this talk page but...

[edit]

I just want to know, how long does it have to be until a charts table is put in? --Matt723star (talk) 21:57, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A chart table can be added once the song charts. Charts are published weekly. --Another Believer (Talk) 22:11, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh okay cool. I've never dealt with a music-related article before. I was wondering because I've been seeing that the song has been topping in places, but then again, Twitter probably isn't the best place to look for that kind of stuff... --Matt723star (talk) 22:20, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Pay no attention to iTunes lists or social media when it comes to charts. See Wikipedia:Record charts for more info on deprecated and recommended charts. --Another Believer (Talk) 22:22, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"The song is about the west coast culture."

[edit]

Currently, in this sentence, "west coast" links to Culture of California. I think it should either link to West Coast of the United States. Or, if official sources say the song is specifically about California, then the sentence should just say that and link to Culture of California, rather than "west coast". Thoughts? --Another Believer (Talk) 20:49, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

UK release date

[edit]

iTunes and now the official Lana Del Rey website when viewed in the UK have a new release date listed - May 25, a week later than originally announced. [1][2] Sjr 14 (talk) 15:46, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
