hmmm... ultimately sexist chocolate bar??? hmmm... ultimately oversensitive snowflake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:8389:4120:CDC9:397D:529:3340 (talk) 00:22, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yorkie Adverts

[edit]

I just removed the Yorkie Adverts section, as it contained no information that wasn't detailed better in the previous section of the article. It probably would have been more appropriate to move that content down into the advertisment section, however as the article was a stub, I felt that would just fragment things more. --Defragged 14:44, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They now are only 53g....out of a vending machine here at work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.22.0.178 (talk) 16:13, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Does the red peanut Yorkie exist...... I think so!

I dont' think the use the "It's not for girls!" slogan any more... 90.194.110.163 (talk) 15:29, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they do sadly- Stickings90 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stickings90 (talkcontribs) 15:44, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have recently noticed Yorkie bars without the "not for girls slogan". Tk420 (talk) 20:20, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An image of the bar wrapper on their website still has the slogan on it:

But one of the funniest commercials ever seen on TV. Just pure hilarious stereotypes and silliness. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.244.136.186 (talk) 03:47, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yorkie Name

[edit]

The First and second lines of this article disagree on where the name "Yorkie" comes from. The first line says "It was originally branded by Rowntree's of York, hence the name." saying it's named after the place, but the second line says "In 1976, Jim Yorkie, of Yorkshire" saying it's named after the guy that invented it. I don't know which one is correct, but either way, having two consecutive contradictory sentences is just wrong.
