  • ... that a former Congregational chapel (pictured) built in 1888 was used as the recording studio for an album that became a best-seller of the 21st century? Source: "Former Islington Congregational Chapel and school, now a recording studio" [1] "A congratulations also to our very own engineer Steve Price and producer Fraser T Smith whose efforts on Adele's album at Angel Studios were also rewarded with a Grammy." • - Length, Date, Cite, QPQ, and Earwigs check. For the original image I am not approving it because a reverse-google of the image pulls up this. Given that I had to rev-del a number of revisions by the uploader due to copyright infringement I'm not confident the image is the uploader's own work and do not feel comfortable running it (I have also tagged it at Commons for further investigation). I did swap the image with an alternative one which we can use, or if you would prefer, run the hook without an image altogether. Though, I must say that with the way the hook is worded, we might end up driving more traffic to the ending link rather than the DYK article. Mifter (talk) 06:53, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
  • I have pulled this one from Prep 5 as I was unable to verify it to my satisfaction. See this thread. Gatoclass (talk) 15:42, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
The original hook was (IIRC) proposed by Martinevans123 on the talk page; Andrew Davidson may have some ideas to. As I have previously said, "DYK should be taken out and shot" and I am not bothered about whether nominations pass or fail (and IMHO more people should be like this). omg. That's the last time I suggest a throw-away hook on a talk page. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:54, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
  • Adele: The Biography says "No less than eleven separate studios would be involved. They were AIR Studios, Angel Studios, Eastcote Studios ..." So how about the following. Andrew D. (talk) 21:47, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
I have to admit that it's not at all clear which (parts of which) tracks were (possibly) recorded at which studio. So. yes. ALT1 seems perfectly reasonable. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:58, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
ALT1 is pretty much a factual pass, though I don't think we need to be so sparing in detail - however, the given source has to be added to the article first. Gatoclass (talk) 05:49, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
