Aruneya Upanishad

[edit]

Adi Shankara and his itinerant monks

  • I like it, but the grammar is dubious. Article is long enough, and the History confirms that it was moved to the article space on the 17th. The cited text reads, "Chastity, non-violence, possessionlessness and truthfulness, you should observe this assiduously." That's much more clear and succinct than your hook. May I suggest something like,
  • ALT1 ... that the Aruneya Upanishad says that an itinerant monk's (pictured) approach should be one of chastity, nonviolence, truthfulness, and indifference to material possessions? --Rosekelleher (talk) 15:25, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestion. Redtigerxyz Talk 17:39, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
ALT1 hook is fine with us.--Nvvchar. 07:29, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Full review needed now that hook is set; only newness and length have previously been checked. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:46, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are well-sourced and have an inline citation. The article is neutral and I identified no policy issues. The image is in the public domain but is somewhat lacking in contrast. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:18, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
