Bill Whittle

[edit]

  • Moved to article space on Nov 30, so new enough. More than sufficient size at 11,523 characters. Abundant inline sourcing. Could not detect any problems with POV or close paraphrasing, looks very good overall. Created and nominated by an IP editor, so QPQ presumably does not apply. Now for the hooks:
  • OK for the original hook.
  • AGF for ALT2 and ALT5 (offline sources).
Problem with ALT1: how do we know it is the first video? Problem with ALT3: "soft vision" is apparently not a quote (it does not appear in the source), so I guess it's an informal name for an eyesight problem - maybe it should be rephrased? Problem with ALT4: too long at 209 characters. I like the original hook and ALT1, both are slightly "controversial", while the rest are only moderately interesting (still, my third choice would be ALT5). Although there is abundant sourcing, DYK nominations require a minimum of one inline citation per paragraph. Currently, the last para of "Career", the penultimate para of "PJ Media" and "The Stratosphere Lounge" are unreferenced. Moswento talky 10:44, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
  • referencing is now OK with all the paragraphs covered. With the original Hook is good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:26, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
