  • The article is long enough and new enough with no copyright violations. A QPQ has been completed and the hook is directly cited in the article. I'm not sure how the hook can be interesting to a broad audience when his grandfather doesn't even have an article. SL93 (talk) 11:13, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
@SL93: Thanks for the review. Here are a couple of alternative hooks:

  • ALT1 is ready to go. SL93 (talk) 23:11, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote ALT1, but where does it say in the article that he was pro-British? Yoninah (talk) 22:33, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
  • The last sentence of the first paragraph of the "Struggle for press freedom" section reads as follows: "Mitrovich fought for press freedom and the right for the Maltese to express themselves, although he did not desire independence and he respected and admired the British."
I used the term "pro-British" to refer to this part. Perhaps it can be reworded to be in line with the article, such that:
This is directly cited in this source: "Having found time to do business transactions with the British, whom he greatly admired..." and "Although he severely criticised the colonial administration of Malta, he appreciated the British connection"

  • Thank you. ALT1a is better IMO. Restoring tick per SL93's review. Yoninah (talk) 00:10, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
