Grouse Creek block

[edit]
  • ... that the 2.5 billion year old Grouse Creek block forms part of the basement of North America?

Created/expanded by Abenne1 (talk). Nominated by Graeme Bartlett (talk) at 10:30, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

  • Also needs a QPQ, will review after it's done.The Interior (Talk) 04:23, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Actually, although welcome, QPQs are not required if an article is nominated by someone other than one of the creators/expanders. So you can review at any time. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:48, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Date, length are good. Article has two maintenance tags that need to be resolved before it runs. Also, a few obtuse and overly techical sentences, ex. "constrained through isotopic analysis of uranium, strontium, neodymium and lead,[2] correlating characteristic Archean orthogneisses in outcrop" should be rewritten for clarity. Otherwise looking good. The Interior (Talk) 18:42, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
I have addressed 2 maintenance tags. Rewording later! Also done another review. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:25, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
I have now reworded that sentence. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 07:33, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
Okey-dokey, thanks for that. One more issue, no inline ref for the hook fact (basement rock). The Interior (Talk) 07:59, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
I have added the inline cite. It was the same as the end of the paragraph cite. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:01, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
