Massachusetts

[edit]
  • ALT1:... that Massachusetts is the most energy efficient state in the United States?
  • ALT2:... that Massachusetts was the first state in the United States to legalize same-sex marriage?
  • ALT3:... that Massachusetts is one of four commonwealths in the United States?
  • Reviewed: Only my 2nd DYK, will review more when I am more experienced with the process.
  • Comment: This is a pretty big article which could have many possible leads, I'm open to suggestions.

  • New and long enough, within policy, no QPQ needed. No copyvios detected, although this source seems to be copying Wikipedia without attribution. I'm striking ALT4 since that fact is not actually in the article, and if it were it would need to be reworded for accuracy to distinguish with territory commonwealths such as Puerto Rico and the Northern Marianas. The other hooks check out, with the original hook being the most interesting IMO. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 04:48, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Comment The original hook is certainly interesting and has broad appeal. ALT2 might also generate a good deal of views (which is the purpose of DYK, right?) given the recent Supreme Court ruling, and that June is LGBT Pride Month. I think ALT1 is of rather limited appeal. --Animalparty-- (talk) 08:07, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
