The Beast in Me is an upcoming television series for Netflix, starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys. The producers on the series include Jodie Foster and Conan O'Brien.
Premise
[edit]A reclusive author with a tragic past finds herself intrigued by her new neighbour who also has personal tragedy in his history.[1]

[edit]The series is produced by 20th Television and created, written and executive produced by Gabe Rotter.[2]
Rotter initially wrote the script 6-7 years prior to production. It is executive produced by Jodie Foster, Conan O’Brien, David Pearce, Jeff Ross and Daniel Kissinger via Conaco, Howard Gordon, who will also be showrunner and Claire Danes, who also stars.[3] Matthew Rhys joined the cast for the Netflix production in August 2024.[4]
In September 2024, filming took place in New Jersey.[5]
