Milena Hering is a mathematics lecturer at University of Edinburgh.

Professional career

Milena Hering works as a lecturer in the School of Mathematics at University of Edinburgh.[1][2] In 2006, she got her PhD at University of Michigan under the advisory of Dr. William Fulton. Milena Hering is interested in algebraic geometry and combinatorics; Toric varieties; Syzygies'; Hilbert schemes.[3] Milena Hering has been a member of the organizing committee for the Algebraic Geometry Northeastern Series (AGNES); Facets of Algebraic Geometry; BrAG.[1]

Awards and honors

Milena Hering was awarded the LMS Emmy Noether Fellowship in 2020.
