From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm Chefdecouscous. I'm Catholic. I have a beautiful wife and a son on the way. I translate German-English for my profession, and I'm working on this project on Wikipedia by translating needed German Wikipedia articles into English. My main interests are theology, music, drum and bugle corps, culture, and language. I currently live near Denver, Colorado.

Education/experience

[edit]

I was born in Phoenix and moved to Colorado when I was young. I attended Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, CO and Colorado State University, majoring in European Studies and minoring in German language and history. I moved to Romania in 2011 to pursue a career in German translation with my company altalingua. I work exclusively on the Volkswagen project translating/proofreading technical documentation from German-English. I moved back to the US at the end of 2012, but still work for the same company.

Personal life

[edit]

I started music when I was 9 on piano, and then learned trumpet and tuba over my career. I played at GMHS and CSU in various ensembles. I toured the country with Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2010 season on tuba. I married my beautiful wife in 2012. We are expecting our first in April. I sing bass at the cathedral downtown.
