Changes

[edit]
  • removed individual row styling: | style=vertical-align:top replacing with template: {{vertical-align}} and adding "vertical-align-top" to table styling as shown in {{vertical-align}}. (What's the proper word for this?

Questions

[edit]
  • Where is the list of all of the available attributes for ``class='wikitable"
  • Oy. I really don't know much about tables!
  • Double Oy! I am nearly completely ignorant of CSS too. Argh!!
    • What exactly is the name of the class "statement"?
    • Why must the string following the = be surrounded by double quote marks?
  • Why does {{vertical-align}} work when it is placed before or after the start of the table: {|class="vertical-align-top wikitable"?
  • Is there any way to align the sections of the Infobox?
    • I think not as there is no concept of sections in the infobox, but hold on a second!
      • Something is generating the horizontal lines that define the "sections"!!

Correct Error Conditions?

[edit]
  • What can be done to clear the error that generates "Location of CmdrDan/TransclusionExercisesIn/Infoboxes:ComparingCountries (green)"?

Among the peoples of the ancient Near East, only the Egyptians have stayed where they were and remained what they were, although they have changed their language once and their religion twice. In a sense, they constitute the world's oldest nation. For most of their history, Egypt has been a state, but only in recent years has it been truly a nation-state, with a government claiming the allegiance of its subjects on the basis of a common identity.
