Khalil attended Jean Le Brun Primary School and later graduated from Sir Abdool Razack Mohamed State Secondary School.

Khalil has been the owner of Clubfotoltd since 2002, a company specializing in photography that captures moments during holidays, providing clients with lasting memories of their experiences. He also serves as the director of Oui Mauritius Events, which specializes in weddings and was established in partnership with Club Med. This collaboration allows Khalil to offer comprehensive wedding planning and coordination services, creating memorable events for couples in a beautiful resort setting.
Previously, Khalil worked as a wedding planner at Club Med Albion and Club Med Pointe aux Canonniers, two prominent resorts in Mauritius. His experience in these roles has honed his skills in crafting unforgettable experiences for couples and guests alike.
