Kikuo (Japanese: きくお; September 21, 1988), is a Japanese musical artist. He is a composer, lyricist, arranger, DJ, and freelance track-maker who is chiefly known on the internet for his songs featuring the Vocaloid voicebank Hatsune Miku.
Kikuo's music is considered unique by many, in fact, of sound effects, along with a high level of attention to detail, gives his music a singular sound.
Early life
[edit]Born in the Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa on September 21, 1988, Kikuo has been interested in creative work from a young age. With it, he saw a chance to feel accepted by others, as well as a way to deal with the bullying he endured and the inferiority complex that followed because of it(ref). The activity he enjoyed the most and never got bored of, though, was DTM. He started making music as soon as he found out that it was possible to do that with just a computer, at the age of 14. Kikuo uploaded the first tracks he ever created on the internet forum 2channel, looking for feedback from other users(ref), Eventually, as he became more confident in his abilities, he became more open about his actievieties; he palyed his songs to his schools music teacher and recieved praise. He entered music doujin patecipated in compilation albums ....., and was asked to make touhou arrangements, in 2006
