Texas Parks and Wildlife Code

[edit]

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to establish the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and regulate wildlife, state parks, and other outdoor recreational areas. The codes outline hunting seasons, license and permit requirements, and conservation plans. [1] The code was enacted in 1975 by Texas HB 1186, 64th R.S. as part of the ongoing revision process begun in 1963. [2]
