Introduction
Backstreet Boys (often abbreviated as BSB) is an American vocal group consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. They were formed in 1993 in Orlando, Florida.
The group rose to fame with their international debut album, Backstreet Boys (1996). In the following year, they released their second international album Backstreet's Back (1997), along with their self-titled U.S. debut album, Backstreet Boys (1997), which continued the group's success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their third studio album Millennium (1999), anchored by the worldwide hit "I Want It That Way", and its follow-up album, Black & Blue (2000). They also released a greatest hits album, The Hits – Chapter One (2001). After a two-year hiatus, they regrouped and released a comeback album, Never Gone (2005). After the conclusion of the Never Gone Tour in 2006, Richardson left the group to pursue other interests. The group then released two albums as a quartet: Unbreakable (2007) and This Is Us (2009). The discography of American pop vocal group Backstreet Boys consists of ten studio albums, 31 singles, one live album, three compilation albums and 33 music videos. As of 2019, they have sold more than 130 million records worldwide, becoming the best-selling boy band of all time. Formed in Orlando, Florida in 1993, the group consists of Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough. Richardson left the group in 2006 to pursue other interests, but rejoined in 2012. The Backstreet Boys released their debut single "We've Got It Goin' On" in 1995, which peaked at number sixty-nine on the Billboard Hot 100. The single, however, entered the top ten in many European countries. Their debut album, Backstreet Boys, was released internationally in 1996, and was certified three times platinum in Europe, and diamond in Canada. In 1997, they released their second international album, Backstreet's Back, which continued their international success. At the same time, they released their second self-titled album in the United States. It peaked at number four and eventually became the tenth best-selling album of the 1990s.
In 1999, the Backstreet Boys released their third and most successful album to date, Millennium, which entered the Billboard 200 at number one with first-week sales of 1,133,000 copies. It became the best-selling album of the year and sold over 24 million copies internationally. In the following year, they released their fourth album, Black & Blue, which also entered the Billboard 200 at number one with first-week sales of over a million copies. After the Black & Blue Tour in 2001, the Backstreet Boys entered a hiatus. They released their fifth studio album, Never Gone, in 2005. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, selling over 291,000 copies in its first week of release. Never Gone's follow-up, Unbreakable, released in 2007, became their first album to not receive any certification in the United States. Image 4A Night Out with the Backstreet Boys is the first unplugged acoustic concert show by the Backstreet Boys. It was recorded live at Viva Television in Cologne, Germany on March 28, 1998. It was first released in VHS format with a bonus CD titled Selections from A Night Out with the Backstreet Boys, and was released later on DVD on November 7, 2000. It serves as a follow-up to their successful self-titled debut album, which came out a year prior. A day after its release, a United States-exclusive reissue of their debut was released with a revised track list and additional songs from Backstreet's Back.
The first track recorded for the album was a cover of "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss". The tracks "If You Stay" and "Who Do You Love" were recorded for the album but were ultimately not included; the latter was performed live but never released as a studio track. The three singles released from Backstreet's Back: "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", "As Long as You Love Me", and "All I Have to Give" became three of their most successful singles. It is the last BSB tour with all five members of the group, as Kevin Richardson left the band shortly after the tour concluded on June 23, 2006. However, Richardson permanently returned to the band on April 29, 2012.

NKOTBSB was an American pop supergroup consisting of the members of American boy bands New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys. Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys came up with the name, which is a combination of established initialisms of each groups' names, NKOTB and BSB. Together they have released one compilation album, the eponymous NKOTBSB (2011) and one single, "Don't Turn Out the Lights". The tour performed over 150 shows in the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia. It was the ninth highest-grossing tour of 2019, with a total attendance of 999,242 from 95 shows, as well as a total revenue of $92,310,105.
The tour began on May 11, 2019, but was cut short on March 15, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They initially rescheduled the remaining dates for 2021, but eventually had to reschedule again for 2022 and 2023. Additional shows will take place in the fall of 2024. (Full article...) -

The album features 15 songs by the group, as well as a new song, "Drowning". "Drowning" was the album's only single, peaking at number four on the UK Singles Chart and charting in the top 10 in several countries.
A video album, featuring all of the videos from the release, was made available around the same time as the album. It peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was released on July 30, 2013, through the group's own K-BAHN record label, under license to BMG Rights Management, and distributed by RED Distribution. Although it serves as the follow-up to This Is Us (2009), it is the first album since Never Gone (2005) to feature Kevin Richardson, who left the group in 2006 and rejoined in 2012. It was also their first and only independent album since leaving their old label Jive Records in 2010. The album debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, making the Backstreet Boys the first act since Sade to have nine US top 10 albums and the only boy band to do so.
On May 20, 2013, the group released "Permanent Stain" as a promotional single, which was co-written by band member Nick Carter. The set list included songs from their second album Backstreet's Back (International) (1997) and several songs from their debut U.S. album, Backstreet Boys (U.S.) (1997).
During this tour, Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell underwent surgery to correct a congenital heart defect he had had since birth. Surgery was necessary because the hole in his heart was getting larger. Carter managed to get two of his bandmates, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough, to star in the film. In addition, Carter also cast several members from other boy bands like 98 Degrees, O-Town, *NSYNC and All-4-One. This was their seventh concert tour in support of their sixth studio album Unbreakable (2007) and this was the first Backstreet Boys tour as a quartet without Kevin Richardson who left the group on June 23, 2006. He did, however, join his band again at the end of the tour in Los Angeles. Richardson later permanently returned to the group on April 29, 2012. The tour kicked off in Japan with two sold out concerts in the Tokyo Dome.
The show at London's O2 Arena on the May 14, 2008 was recorded. It was first shown in MSN "Music in Concert" at 2:00 PM ET/11:00AM PT on June 26, 2008. It was also later shown on VH1 in the UK on October 31, 2008 at 9pm. However, all solo songs were cut from the aired program, showing only the songs performed by them as a group. (Full article...)
