The Manchukuo Senate was an advisory body to the emperor of Manchukuo, Puyi, equivalent to the Privy Council of Japan. The Manchukuo Senate functioned as the de-facto legislative body because there were no elections held for the Legislative Yuan of Manchukuo [zh].[1]
