Shaikh Muhammad Bava Usthad (1957-) also known as BAVA USTHAD. He is Sufi Islamic Preacher of Sufi Orders like Qadriyya, Chishtiyya in India, especially in Kerala state of India.[1].

Hazrat was brought up with strong predilection for acquainting with great Sufi saints of his times from his younger years itself.

Early life

SHe became disciple of Shaikh Sayyed Muhammad Albas Basheer(r) hailing from Chavakkad in Thrissur District in Kerala. After Hazrat Sayyed Albas Basheer(r) passed away, he became the disciple of Sayyed Muhammad Moula Bin Makki Saidar Pookkoya Thangal(r) who was leading a Sufi path living in Iyyad near Balussery in Kozhikode District in Kerala, India. On the fourth year after Sayyed Muhammad Moula Thangal left this material world, Shaikh Bava Usthad’s meeting with Qutubuzzaman Hazrat Sheikh Sufi Muhammad Yousuf Sultan Shah Qadiri happened. It was a time, Hazrat Sultan Shah Qadiri has settled in Kerala after a long span of spiritual journey. He became one of the primary disciples of Sheikh Sultan Shah, and became thoroughly active in assisting Hazrat Sultan Shah in his propagation works of Kalima-e-Thayyiba. He was bestowed with Khilafath Nama by Hazrat Shaikh Sultan Shah Qadiri on the occasion of Khilafath Conference held in 2002

Shaikh Yusuf Sultan Shah Qadiri Chishti died in 25 January 2019 on 7.30 pm (20 Jamadul Awwal 1440). His body was embodied at his Astana, Jeelani Sharif on 26 January 2019.
