Renegade1116 (Tuesday 13th, May 2004- Present), exists as an avatar in RuneScape. This character was created by Matthew Miller and is currently maintained and owned by Alexander Webster, but is solely the intellectual property of Jagex.

History

The RuneScape character known as Renegade1116 was created in May 2004 on Tuesday the 13th. Contrary to popular belief it is not actually Alexander Webster (current owner of the account) who created it. It was created for Alexander Webster by a man named Matt Miller who had introduced him to the game for the second time. Alexander Webster had played Runescape during the days when Runescape Classic was released under a previous username of: Redwallred. This account was hacked and soon forgotten about until Alexander Webster moved to Lakewood, OH where he met Matt Miller. During a lunch period at Horace Mann Junior High, Alexander was told all about Runescape and Matt invited Alexander back to his apartment and showed him the game, logging in under Matt's username: Strike Man09. Alexander was going to create a character that day, but he was called home for an appointment. Suggested names for Alexander's character were rumored to be: Mr Invisible, Canswer, or Mr Nobody. Matt Miller took the liberty of creating a character for him, since Alexander had left. The very next day, Matt Miller delivered the password for the newly created account to Alexander, who started playing under that name.

The Look of Renegade

When Matt Miller created Alexander's character, he made Renegade1116 with long flowing blond hair, no beard, ripped trousers, a cut-off shirt, and metal cufflinks. Renegade1116 switched this look to a base character outfit consisting solely of red materials, minus his boots. His facial hair is considered his trademark, a common warrior-type plaited beard. His latest configuration seems to be white hair, pirate boots, a split jester shirt, and pants. All in varying shades of black and white. When asked about his unusual choice of skin colour (dark dark brown) Renegade1116 replied," I am not black. I'm not racist either, I just want people to know that I am 'tanned'. So many people confuse this fact."

Membership

His account was at a Nonmember's status for almost three months, then Alexander asked for Membership during his fourteenth birthday which he recieved and started playing under. Since then, he has been a member most of his Runescape career, but occasionally his account has lapsed into Nonmembership due to nonpayment. Last sightings of Renegade1116 by a Runescape user named copyright259 verify that Renegade1116 is a member and frequently visits world 58 as his home world. last seen on world 79.

Psychology

The owner of Renegade1116, Alexander Webster, has led a troubled life that influenced his Runescape character. The early childhood of Alexander Webster has had a great impact on what skills have develeoped into his character.

Monetary Troubles

A large number of his skills corresponding to earning money, or simply "money-making" skills has been alot higher than normal skills. Partly due in fact that Alexander has never been rich, and has often been very poor. This drive to become rich is motivated by his lack of wealth in real life. Skills mirroring this include: Fletching, Woodcutting, and Fishing.

Peter Pan Syndrome and Violent Tendencies

Alexander Webster has been diagnosed with "Peter Pan Syndrome" which effects aspects of his Runescape character. His RuneScape character has lower levels in "boring" skills such as : Herblore, Farming, and Agility, which reflect this. His fighting skills are high, much higher than the rest of his skills, which indicate strong feelings of empowerment through violence. He has admitted to friends and family numerous times of having a strong violent nature, referred to as Hedonism. (ed. I think you mean Heathenism. Hedonism is the pursuit of bodily pleasure)

Effects of Runescape on Alexander Webster

RuneScape has had a partially negative effect on Alexander Webster. Some instances are: reduced sleep, falling grades, isolation, bad health, introversion, startling ability to make look-alike items from real life objects and use them in such a way to convey Runescape images/actions, and refusal to acknowledge a surrounding "real" world. Strong addictive behavior has been demonstrated many times.

Renegade1116 has been the start of many different outfits pieced together in Runescape. Some even consider him a Runescape fashion designer though he comments," I hate fashion...I just like wearing things that are unique. I hate when people wear the same set of rune over and over. When asked about his frequent skirt-wearing Renegade1116 replied,"I like the Dragon Skirt because the bottom is frayed up...that and it's alot cheaper. Why spend great amounts of money to have bulky legs when you can look like a Roman Legionaire?" His odd and bizarre sense of fashion seems to be setting a trend for higher leveled Runescape users as well as lower leveled Runescape users. There are many, many verions and adaptations of his unique outfits.
