Here I, Tim McKee, will discuss my personal faith, the Christianity that I believe. Just to clarify some things. Please don't think I'm forcing my beliefs on anyone, I'm just stating them. I'll start with a creed.

Creed

[edit]
  • I believe in one God.
  • I believe He is universally sovereign, eternally benevolent, never-changing, holy, omniscient, and omnipresent.
  • I believe God is made up of three componentsGod the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit—who are/were/will be always one.
  • I believe God is the Creator of all things.
  • I believe God has unconditional, everlasting, self-sacrificial love for all humans.
  • I believe God gave humans free will, the ability to choose between Good and Evil.
  • I believe humans need God to live; God is the lifeblood of mankind.
  • I believe Satan, one of God's creation who turned against Him, created Evil and introduced it to humans.
  • I believe Adam and Eve gave in to the temptation presented to them by Satan, thus introducing Evil into all mankind.
  • I believe Evil (Sin) is always destructive to humans.
  • I believe God hates Evil because of its destructiveness to humans, God's beloved creation.
  • I believe Evil distances humans from God, and this enrages God.
  • I believe all humans are guilty of sin; none meet God's requirements for perfection, therefore we are separate from God.
  • I believe only a perfect sacrifice can make up for sins, and Jesus Christ is that sacrifice. He died on a cross to forgive the sins of mankind, taking God's wrath Himself.
  • I believe Jesus physically rose again, defeating Death.
  • I believe all who believe in Him and accept His forgiveness will not perish but will have eternal life spent with God.
  • I believe Jesus will come again to Earth and will eventually fight and destroy the Devil.
  • I believe His kingdom will last forever.
