Genetic engineering, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, protein engineering, pathway discovery, biological hydrogen production, biological nitrogen fixation, various diazotrophs, plant transgenics, plant-microbe interactions, drought tolerance, assay development, DNA aptamers.

I contribute to Wikipedia articles with information or figures I have created from reading the primary literature or analyzing published DNA sequencing data.
