For most of its route, the road is known locally as Main Street, except for Blaine, where it is renamed to 125th Avenue North to align with the Minneapolis street system. Part of the route used to be Minnesota State Highway 242, until 2007.[2]

Route description

[edit]

County Road 14 begins in downtown Anoka at 5th Avenue (CSAH 1.) It goes into Coon Rapids, crossing US-10 and MN-47, and also passes University Avenue. The road continues into Blaine as 125th Avenue North. It crosses MN-65 and goes to Lino Lakes, where it turns back into Main Street and crosses Interstate 35W without an interchange. It enters Centerville going around Centerville Lake, and then continues back into Lino Lakes and after that, the road has an interchange with Interstate 35E.[3] It ends at Washington County Road 8 at the border between Lino Lakes and Hugo.
