Clerks and prospective clerks, please read instructions here. (<-- Obviously this page would have to be written containing guidelines for clerks)

This page is intended to be a location where unregistered users can nominate articles for deletion. Although this page is intended chiefly for unregistered users, who are unable to create the discussion page necessary to begin a deletion discussion, if you are a registered user and have both read WP:AFDHOWTO and attempted to post a nomination, but have not been successful following those instructions, you may list your nomination here and an experienced user will help you post or complete your nomination.

Please note that articles for deletion (AfD) is the place for listing controversial nominations that do not meet any of the speedy deletion criteria, and are not suitable for the proposed deletion process (or the "sticky prod" process for articles on living persons). If those methods do not apply, please review WP:BEFORE. Pay special attention to the idea that you should attempt a good faith effort to locate sources before seeking to nominate an article on the basis of notability or unverifiability.

If after reading the above paragraph you still would like to nominate an article, please follow these instructions to ensure your nomination is checked and posted efficiently. Failure to follow these instructions correctly will result in your nomination being removed.

  • Click here. (<-- Link to add new section)
  • Copy all of the following code to your clipboard: ===={{la|ARTICLE NAME}}====, replacing ARTICLE NAME with the name of the article you are nominating. (Could probably be done with a preload, similar to CHU)
  • At the end of the line of code, press Enter. Write your rationale for nomination in the space below.
  • Click "Save this page".
  • Your nomination will appear. A clerk will soon determine if the nomination is in good faith, and if that is the case, will then post the nomination to the main Articles for Deletion page.

I fail to see how this insignificant radio station passes Wikipedia:Notability. 172.30.89.56 (talk) 00:00, 30 February 2010 (UTC)

Accepted, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WVRX. Clerky McClerkster (talk) 00:01, 30 February 2010 (UTC)
(Note: Notice how the nomination is accepted even though the article clearly is about a notable topic. It is not the job of this page to weed out nominations that, despite being rationally based on a guideline, will obviously fail. Any nomination that is at least based in some way on a guideline or policy should be accepted; it is not the responsibility of the clerks to predict the outcome and protect the nominator if the outcome is unfavorable. The only responsibility of the clerks is to decline nominations that would be considered disruptive: those that are obviously in bad faith or otherwise have clearly invalid reasons, as seen below.)

I don't like Jerry, and I don't think he should have an article on here. Newman (talk) 00:10, 30 February 2010 (UTC)

Declined, "I don't like it" is not a valid reason for deletion Clerky McClerkster (talk) 00:12, 30 February 2010

Why do we have this? 10.78.34.199 (talk) 08:30, 30 February 2010 (UTC)
