Speedy deletion of "Https://www.facebook.com/"

[edit]

A page you created, Https://www.facebook.com/, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it has no content, other than external links, categories, "see also" sections, rephrasing of the title, and/or chat-like comments.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:18, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect should be created only if it is something that someone is likely to search for, and if the target contains information that is likely to be useful to anyone making that search. It is highly unlikely that anyone would search on English Wikipedia for X̊ in order to find information about the letter X, so your redirect has been deleted. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Wookieepedia has been reverted.
Your edit here to Wookieepedia was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.wikia.com/wiki/c:mn.starwars:Websites) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:05, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Star Wars

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for the invitation! I'm currently busy with several things on Wikipedia, and I'm afraid i don't have enough time to edit other websites. I'll see if i had any free time. Thanks again. Best--باسم (talk) 13:33, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you should be using Wikipedia talk pages to try to recruit people to participate in other wikis. Doing so seems rather like (a) using Wikipedia for advertising or promotion, and (b) using Wikipedia as a web host for purposes unrelated to work for the encyclopaedia, both of which are contrary to Wikipedia policy. Hello, I've seen your message on zh:Portal talk:星際大戰. I'm glad to see another Star Wars fan trying to contribute to wikipedia, because we have very few in zh-wikipedia. However, we can only add links of official sites here, and I don't think wikia:zh.starwars is one of them. By the way, we use to start a new section in the end of a talk page, because by doing this, it'll make others easier to read and know which topic is the latest. Hello again i  fixed the sentence. The title is correct in Arabic and thats how its been translated since the 1970's. My knowledge of Persian and Aramaic is shallow and simple, I'm afraid cant help much in this. Best regards--باسم (talk) 10:12, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
