A tag has been placed on File:Joey-Graceffa-Children-of-Eden(2).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, 1bcdbackup. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "In Real Life: My Journey to a Pixelated World".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 00:02, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Elites of Eden

[edit]

Draftspace isn't meant for simply working on "in progress" articles and then moving them yourself as soon as you consider yourself done; it's meant primarily for new editors who haven't earned the privilege of directly creating new pages in mainspace yet, and requires review by established editors before the page can be moved. The fact that it might have slipped through the cracks when you did the same thing in the past doesn't really have any bearing on anything, because administrators can only respond to or fix incidents that they notice.

In reality, you've been around here long enough that you're clearly able to directly create new pages yourself — so you really shouldn't be using draftspace at all, because that's meant for new editors who haven't earned "page creator" rights yet (which is why AFC approval is required). If you want to give yourself time to work on a new article outside of mainspace and then just move it yourself instead of waiting weeks for somebody else to review your work when you consider yourself done, then you should actually use your own sandbox (User:1bcdbackup/sandbox) to do that instead of draftspace. If you use draftspace, then draftspace rules (inclusive of review by an AFC reviewer) apply — established editors aren't necessarily forbidden from doing what you've been doing, but we need to use our own sandboxes, not draftspace, to do it. Is there any reason you put back the warning JasonRivera878321 removed? I agree it's not right. Users are allowed to delete warnings to save space, doesn't invalidate them. InedibleHulk (talk) 06:28, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I thought it was related to something else, my apologies.1bcdbackup (talk) 06:38, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No worries on that. Just worry about defying consensus. Personally, I don't think we need to call theories false, but can see why the majority agrees we do. InedibleHulk (talk) 06:58, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Temu flag fixes

[edit]

Hi, I have just posted Talk:Temu (company)#Request for more clean up and removing flag to ask for fixes to the page about Temu (company) that should address the final issues raised in a flag for the page. I have a conflict of interest as an employee of Temu. I want to follow the correct process for COI users. Since you are a member of the WikiProject for Internet Culture, which is relevant to the page, I thought you possibly be interested in reviewing the proposal. Temu’s app has been the most downloaded phone app in the United States in recent months. Thanks in advance for your consideration! Snowy2000 (talk) 03:01, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
