Derek Sanderson

[edit]

What are you trying to accomplish with your edits to Derek Sanderson? His website has been added to the infobox and is displayed at the bottom of it. The website either goes at the bottom of the web page such as, Mike Modano, or at the bottom of the page in the external links section like Claude Giroux. If you are trying to do something else feel free to mention it below and perhaps I can help you with it. Cheers --Mo Rock...Monstrous (leech44) 15:40, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mo, I am just trying to add his personal official website to the page but every time I do it it gets deleted for some reason. Here is an image of what I want it to look like: http://210usa.com/assets/images/Derek Sanderson Wikipedia the free encyclopedia.png

  • OK, stop adding the damn link. We don't link those things in the title, we don't even link in-text. As I told you, it's in the article (LOOK AT THE BOTTOM), and it's in the infobox, as another editor told you. Drmies (talk) 16:28, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It is Wikipedia policy that external links are placed at the bottom of the page: "External links should not normally be used in the body of an article. Instead, include appropriate external links in an "External links" section at the end of the article, and in the appropriate location within an infobox, if applicable". The continual adding the website to other areas of the page will result in continuing deletion and a waste of time.
