Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Margaret Wente has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. I didn't! It was a reversion of blanking/profanity vandalism by 70.52.28.132.
I would never post libelous attack content on a living person and certainly wouldn't lie in an edit summary. My reversion to the IP's vandalism somehow was superseded in a conflict with another (Huggle)-reversion of it by User:MithrandirAgain at the same time. I got no edit conflict notification.
If you look at the edit history showing our reverting of 70.52*'s vandalism you can see it's at the exact same minute. The cause may've been an apparently regular but uncommon bug. As submitted, my reversion was identical to MithrandirAgain's.
I've no issue with your robust approach of issuing vandalism warnings; in fact I share your desire to maintain the integrity of the site, PoeticVerse. It's just sad that on this occasion, while effectively performing the same maintenance as yourself, I fell victim to software not working as it should, though it's something you couldn't possibly have known. :( --92.30.83.244 (talk) 02:48, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry about that. That has been happening to me too (minus warnings.) Good luck!--MithrandirAgain (Talk!) 03:00, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your kind comment, Mithrandir. It's late here and my heart sank when I saw what happened. I genuinely appreciate the note. Thanks! 92.30.83.244 (talk) 03:10, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm so sorry that happened, I'm not sure what went wrong with the software that we call 'Huggle'. Genuinely sorry for this glitch, PoeticVerse (talk) 03:55, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. I'm not sure either – it'll probably remain known only among Huggle, Mediawiki, Gremlins or whatever the cause of the glitch may be! Anyhow, glad the bio came out fixed in the end. Thanks, 92.30.83.244 18:38, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
