Verifiability policy

[edit]

The Wikipedia policy which will be at the core of the deletion review discussion for the Battle of Karánsebes is Wikipedia:Verifiability, which includes:

The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. That is, whether readers can check that material in Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether editors think it is true.

It would be worth your while to read the whole policy, in particular the section WP:REDFLAG which may well be invoked.
