Speedy deletion nomination of Article selection/sandbox

[edit]

Hello AmandaLab17,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Article selection/sandbox for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Please do not cut and paste within Wikipedia. Or if you absolutely need to, make sure to follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. —Kusma (t·c) 17:19, 26 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Negocios Internacionales Translation from English, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –Ammarpad (talk) 03:35, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi! It looks like this was deleted because it was a Spanish language article posted to the English Wikipedia rather than to the Spanish Wikipedia. I do want to note, however, that the Spanish Wikipedia already has an article on the topic es:Negocios_internacionales. This means that rather than just posting the translated content over there wholesale, you would instead need to see what is missing in the other article and selectively add content into the article.
On a side note, you do need to be careful about formatting, as none of the content was formatted, which made the material a bit hard to separate into sections and really read. My recommendation would be to see if Metropolitan90 would be willing to restore the content to your userspace so you can see if anything could be added to the Spanish article on the topic. I can also help you with formatting if you like - if so, just post a message on my talk page. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:39, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
