I just made a couple of minor grammatical edits. I appreciate how you added this information because to someone that has no idea what hearing conservation programs are, prior to your edits, they would likely think that OSHA is the only regulatory agency out there.

My suggestions include to possibly add at what specific level the entities require HPD's to be worn. And to also add citations throughout. My other suggestion is to possibly change the section title. Right now you have "Other Programs"...I'm not sure these entities are called programs, but maybe rather "Other Regulatory Agencies". I think this might make more sense since what you added are not necessarily hearing conservation programs, but sets of regulations to follow for specific occupations. This is a great start, but I think you could find some additional information pertaining to each agency. For example, I learned while writing my earmuff article that MSHA requires dual hearing protection (earmuffs over earplugs) when levels exceed 105 dB. I am curious about when hearing protection devices are required for each agency. I would also like to know more about the DoD program. Good job with your grammar and spelling. It has the tone of an encyclopedia. Kthra (talk)
