This looks great - I agree with the reviewer comments and have nothing to add. Nice work! A Miller — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amille75 (talkcontribs) 04:02, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Dr. Miller! I've fixed the information that I have written in my sandbox in accordance to the critiques that have been kindly given. And thank YOU for all of the warm support you've given to us in this project and throughout this semester! I hope you have a great winter break and a wonderful Christmas and New Years. May we cross paths again!

General Comments: My general understanding of your contribution is that you're highlighting key species and their uses as food sources and then discussing toxicity. I think you did a great job being specific with how these plants are eaten and in what context and location. Good job. However, I don't see any indication of where you plan to put this segment. Since you are talking about species, I'm guessing you'll put them under "notable species." I don't want to assume, though! In addition, I do wonder where you plan to put the paragraph about toxicity.

Grammar: You did great!

   - Hi Rocky, thank you for your generous complements! I'm addressing your critiques by placing the segments about the uses underneath a new heading called "Current and Potential Uses" followed by a sub-heading called "Food and Health." A fellow student in our class, who has the username Dnanji, has placed his contributions concerning the nutritional value of Crotalaria underneath this segment. I've also placed the information I have written about toxicity underneath a sub-heading that says simply "Toxicity"! Dnanji has also placed this underneath a heading called "Properties" and has placed his information about its sensitivity to water supplies. Asehizad (talk) 02:17, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

General Comments: This is some cool stuff on the various species of Crotalaria. I didn't know these types of plants were perennials so that is interesting. Plus, the fact that you elaborated on the various nutritious portions of the plants is interesting too. Maybe you should cut some of this down and see if you can find sources on how this sort of toxicity could be applied to other plants to fend off predators other than us humans. This would probably be very hard though and probably unrealistic since the research is bound to be limited. Overall, this is a good overview.

Grammar: Well done, just a few minor fixes and you should be good. In your very first sentence, take out the second "are" between Crotalaria and popularly. In your sentence relating to "C. longirostrata", I think something funky happened here with your italics. Longirostrata should also be italicized and the "also known as ... " part does not need to be.

References: There seems to be something wrong with your first reference as indicated by wiki, but it looks okay to me. Maybe wiki is just glitching. Otherwise your sources seem good.

Thanks Tharunkotaru! I've definitely considered your advice about looking for research on how the toxicity would fend off predators rather than just us humans, and unfortunately I haven't found any available research. But I appreciate the thought; I'll probably add that to the talk page of the Crotalaria page so that future Crotalaria contributors can get inspired.
I've also fixed the funky italics problems and the weird issue with the citations!
Thank you for all of your kind words. Have a happy winter break! Asehizad (talk) 02:17, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
