If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bliss Media requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  Velella  Velella Talk   10:48, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have already given out the reason why it should not be speedily deleted on the talk page. Given Hacksaw Ridge, backed by it, just won Best Sound Mixing award at the 89th Oscars, I hope you could take a second look at the decision. Thanks.BlissMedia (talk) 03:15, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Bliss Media, and I noticed that your username, "BlissMedia", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Exemplo347 (talk) 11:11, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The only reason I had to use this username is that I need to upload movie poster image with its copyright somewhat protected. This is the only way that the communications team of the company would allow me to upload the picture. For example, pls see their upcoming works at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_Chase:_Fire_%26_Earth. Since the requirement is only "may not" instead of "shall not" or "must not", I will stick with it for some time for now. I hope you could understand. There is no conflict of interest here since I am only putting out facts backed up by credible sources. I am not promoting, advocating the company unduly. Other users are welcome to write whatever regarding the company and its works. Thanks.BlissMedia (talk) 03:12, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Wei Han Headshot.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

— Train2104 (t • c) 15:09, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Thomas Price (Actor) headshot.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 19 May 2005, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. bonadea contributions talk 16:11, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Wei Han, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 16:14, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock-spamun|shxiyi|I will now disassociate myself from the company. Since day 1 of the account creation, I have only put out facts about the company from well-sourced trade magazines like Deadline.com, Variety.com, Hollywoodreporter.com, etc. It is about documenting the Chinese force behind recent Hollywood success. There were no glowing terms. Thanks [[User:BlissMedia|BlissMedia]] ([[User talk:BlissMedia#top|talk]]) 04:12, 28 February 2017 (UTC)}} Could you describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked? Request reason:

I have never made disruptive edits to other articles. When I mentioned the company with the same name, I only introduced facts reported by well-known trade magazines in the movie industry. I never intended to make pure advertisement or promotion. Once unblocked, I will still have to appeal the Wei Han article which had been deleted earlier indiscriminately. Again, it's about reporting and documenting facts. In addition, I will make contributions to other subject area as long as I have well-sourced information. I can at least check and add references to other poorly sourced articles. ThanksBlissMedia (talk) 01:23, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Surprise surprise. Another editor with the same editing pattern, Supermann (talk · contribs), shows up on the same IP address. Enough. Please tell your other coworkers at Bliss Media that your continued violations of WP:PAID and WP:COI and WP:PROMO are inappropriate. Spammers aren't welcome here. Request reason:

I, aka Supermann, had, have and will not have any contractual relationship and COI of any kind with Bliss Media. I started writing recently because I noticed Orlando Bloom has an upcoming film in his filmography which had been called SMART Chase: Fire & Earth. Some user named Xdeluna, correct me if I am wrong, initially created a page for that particular movie using outdated information or news article. After understanding facts, I started to edit the article and used movie poster grabbed from the social media account of that movie at Sina Weibo. Due to my unfamiliarity with the complicated picture licensing rules, I naively came up with the user name BlissMedia to attribute the source of the image, thinking it had to be done this way to respect copyright. One thing led to another, then I created page for Bliss Media and Thomas Price (actor) using the same BlissMedia account instead of my own Supermann account. Once blocked, I requested a user name change to avoid appearance of COI. Looking back, had I been using my own Supermann account all along, then the articles would probably have been only tagged with notability issues, despite clear and obvious signs at the most recent 89th Academy Awards. Again, there is no payment whatsoever. Please look at the totality of the evidence and stop this innuendo. You could first start by looking at the pattern of the user account Supermann. I am a film buff dated back to 2006. That's why my tiny edits have been focused on movies over the years. It is thru this recent experience that I started learning to write in a longer style, how to use infobox, etc, because I took ownership of creating a page. I apologize if I left the impression that I was evading blocks and what not. It is hard to use wikipedia in a totalitarian country like PRC, because the Chinese Wikipedia page is blocked and I had to switch back and forth. I was eager to get the accurate information out backed by facts. I did not paint a rosy picture of the company Bliss Media at its page other than simply listing out its filmography. When it comes to Thomas Price (actor), I added him because he had been out on the scene for 10 plus years and his name is on the movie poster. Going back to the Smart Chase page, when some other editor raised the point of Das Film suing the company, I did not put out a press release, but rather I went to the actual court website and cited the legal document pdf showcasing the latest status of the suit. If an administrator could piece out all these threads together and once again actually read the tone of the content, then s/he could realize there is no paid promotion. I am doing this on my own free time. I am a person of integrity and do not like writing shameless press releases. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. You don't necessarily have to unblock the Shxiyi account, but please unblock the Supermann account. I just want to settle the truth once and for all. I will be copying and pasting this same content at the Supermann talk page. Shxiyi (talk) 01:55, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Given that you are the agent of Thomas Price, this is at best deliberately misleading. We also do not unblock sockpuppets. Huon (talk) 02:22, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Supermann the account is not an agent of Thomas Price (actor). Bliss Media the company is. As I, Supermann, created a page for him using the BlissMedia account and cleaned up how he has appeared in films throughout various Wikipedia pages, I raised the point of adding cast info to City Without Baseball. Back then since I was using the BlissMedia account, I said I was an agent. If you look at the movie poster, he is clearly listed there as Thomas Price, but omitted on the infobox. That is why I requested to unprotect so that the info could be added. Trust me. Thomas Price did not pay a single dollar for my effort. Had I not been a film buff, I would not have bothered to make history right.

You're a sock puppet of Supermann editing in the same area. PhilKnight (talk) 04:25, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Again, I, aka Supermann, am not writing to appeal the block on this account, but rather just Supermann. I just want to bring your attention to the fact that there is no ill-intent behind this "sock puppetry" here. It all started when I was not familiar with the rules related to pictures and thought I should use another account to attribute source of the image and copyright. But as I kept explaining, I kept being misconstrued of having the intent to deceive when there is simply none. I appealed to your senses and please look at the totality of evidence and edits made. Were there exaggerations? Were there glowing undeserved description of the movie/company/actor? There is simply none of that. And there is no coworker here. All along, it's just one author.

Decline reason:

You need to request unblock on the account that you want unblocked only, not this one. As you have no legitimate use for this account, I have revoked its talk page privilege. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:10, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
